Prizes and awards
Aromatized wine is a classic recipe of the Piedmontese tradition, born in its "medicinal" meaning. Historically, in fact, the recipe for the infusion was jealously preserved by pharmacists who made these preparations to combat winter ailments and to be used as a restorative and source of vitamins. Today these wines have been rediscovered by gourmets and connoisseurs of specialties who have attributed to them the ideal marriage with chocolate.
Cellar techniques
The wine (obtained from the reclassification of wine suitable to become Barbaresco docg of long aging) is infused with a mixture of sugar, aromatic herbs and spices such as China calissaia, orange peel, chamomile, gentian and liquorice roots, cardamom seeds and others, according to an ancient recipe.
